About ME
Not sure if therapy is for you? Maybe you are “sick and tired of being sick and tired,” worn out by feeling exhausted and disconnected. We are often motivated to change because the old ways are too painful to continue or something drastic has happened, really knocking you off your feet.
I became a therapist because I don’t want anyone to be overlooked, feeling like there is no one to talk to, no one who really listens and no one who cares. I do this work because I know how hard it is to suffer. I want to make sure people who grew up in difficult environments, have had rough life circumstances or are struggling now, do not continue to suffer.
I became a therapist because I needed to heal myself from trauma, addiction, interpersonal issues, anxiety, depression, you name it. I’ve been there. I have experienced the “dark night of the soul” and found the other side. I help others move through their deep pain points and experience the joy and freedom on the other side. I help people suffer less in this world. I believe that every person has the right to thrive in their lives. I will help you move in that direction.
I know how hard it is to be at a breaking point and questioning how you will get out of this rut. You are fed up with feeling bad and look at other people and wish your life were different. You may think you have no one to talk to and this leads you to feeling even more isolated and worried. You put yourself down for not being “normal” and for having these issues. It is truly the worst. Let me help. You do not have to do this on your own. I am a completely qualified and experienced therapist in Boulder, who can help you get unstuck. You can read more about my training and experience below.
What is Holistic Therapy?
Rather than focusing on an illness or a specific symptom one may be experiencing, a holistic approach considers the whole person and how they interact with their environment. Through a holistic lens, I look at each person as already whole with many different parts (certain parts may be in distress and that’s where therapy comes in) and I strive to help you find harmony in the interplay between the mind, body, and spirit.
We all want to feel a sense of satisfaction, fulfillment, and love in our lives. And yet, it can be difficult to see and make the changes we are desperately longing for.
You are really wanting a change and are finally ready to reach out. Things have been hard, but they are about to get better. They can get better, getting started is easy.
